Council Tax due to Rise Again Council Tax is due to rise across the country, most counties are planning to increase council tax in 2008. Many councils blame the need to increase council tax on the fact that the labour government are failing to channel through sufficient funding from central government.
What on earth happens to the taxes we pay?? It seems the more we pay in tax as a Nation the less we appear to be get in the form of services. Many Councils are cutting rubbish collection and other essential services, in other areas hospitals are having to cut beds and health related services important to many communities. |
